Biomythography
Investigating biomythography as an interdisciplinary visual arts practice.
STATEMENT
Within my multidisciplinary project-based practice, I regard political and cultural identities as sites in which to research and play. Recently, I have used video, performance, painting, drawing, and writing to critically engage with the layered identities and migration narratives of contemporary ethnic America. I am interested in deconstructing the codes that govern representations of cultural difference and solidarity, pictorially and through language.
